I started reading my camera manual

Don’t expect too much, but I’m finally figuring out some of my camera settings.  It’s nice to have a model around at all times for me to practice on.  Sorry your Mom is picture crazy, Grace.

 

Big Crib, Tiny Baby

I love how tiny Grace looks in her crib. On top of that she looks so sweet when she's sleeping.

Eight Weeks

Grace was feeling serious this week. I'm pretty sure she was ready for a nap and was bugged that I wanted so many pictures.

We discovered that Grace has a cute reaction when we blow in her face, so here's a little video of her.

Seven Weeks

 This baby is starting to get some chub (at least her cheeks are)

She's also started to have some baby acne, not that she really seems to care.

 

Strength Training

Grace hasn’t quite mastered flipping over, but she is working on it. She has been doing pretty well with her head lifts (pretty impressive with a head that size)

Olympics

We spent a lot of time watching the Olympics while Bryan’s family was in town, and I felt like I spent most nights like this:

Six Weeks

After a quick wardrobe change out of her blessing dress (which Grace miraculously didn't poop on or spit up all over), we did Grace's six week shoot.  This was the first week that she started smiling on command, and I couldn't get enough of it.

 

 

 

Grace's Blessing Day

Look at that cute little angel baby!  What is sweeter than I baby dressed in white? On Grace’s blessing day we were able to have almost all of Bryan’s family (we were just missing Joe), as well as my sister Sandi’s family and our friends Justin and Marissa .  It was so nice to have everyone there.

 It was a beautiful day, and since we live around the corner from our church, it was nice that we could just walk over.  Byran did a great job with the blessing, and Grace didn't cry at all.  After church we went back to our place for some barbecued teriyaki steak.

We love this little baby and can't believe how much she's grown already.  I really don't believe that she'll get bigger than she currently is (not to mention learn to talk, walk, etc.).
