Twenty-One Weeks

Grace was laughing or smiling in pretty much every single picture I took today.  She's one happy baby. This shirt was the "dress" she wore for Rachel's wedding when she was only a few weeks old.  It crazy to think how much she's grown since then.

Temple Square

While Rebecca was visiting for Thanksgiving, we went up to Temple Square in Salt Lake to see the Christmas Lights with Matt and Sandi.  Unfortunately, every other person in Utah decided to do the same thing.  It was so insanely crowded.  We tried to get a picture in front of the lights but we pretty much failed (this was really the best one, so imagine the others).

Ruby loved all the lights, which was pretty cute.  Grace, on the other hand, slept through the whole thing.  She did wake up on the way to the car and gave us some super cute frozen smiles.

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving we stayed in Provo, but the nice thing is that most of my family was in the area, so we had everyone come to our house.  We had Matt, Sandi, and Ruby come down from Salt Lake; Rebecca came down from BYU-Idaho; and Rachel, Marc, and Matt's brother Johnny already live in Provo.  It was a pretty full house.  For the record, I stole some of these pictures from Sandi and Rebecca.

Grace had fun seeing her Aunt Becca

This Thanksgiving I am definitely thankful for my family.  I'm so grateful that Grace could join us.  We love her so much!
...but I'm also really grateful for delicious food.  This holiday was made for my family because it's pretty much revolves around eating and relaxing (we don't do Black Friday).
Nantucket cranberry pie, pumpkin pie, pecan cheesecake, and apple pie.  They were good.

Daddy Time

Grace loves to touch Bryan's hair and stubble.  She will put both her hands on his chin and just sit there staring at him for a while.  I think she especially loves to grab his hair because he lets her do it, instead of frantically try to make her let go, like I do (in my defense, she always pulls my hair out once she grabs it). Grace is pretty much Bryan's at-home gym.  She likes when he tosses her up in the air and when he does sit up with her on his stomach.

Twenty Weeks

Grace got some new boots.  She may not have been super excited to try them out, but I sure was.

Nineteen Weeks

Grace is obviously practicing third position for her future career as a ballerina.

Lambie

I was definitely a stuffed animal lover as a child.  I didn't dislike dolls, but I liked stuffed animals even more.  My favorite toy growing up (I’m pretty sure I got it in Aspen Grove when I was seven) was a lamb that I named… Lambie.  As you can tell, I was very creative with my names.  I had my mom send up some of my old toys for Grace, and it was pretty cute seeing her hug my old toy.

Quilt

Bryan’s mom makes beautiful quilts for all her grandchildren.  I completely love Grace’s quilt.  I love the blues, greens, and yellow polka dots, as well as the cute little hummingbirds.  It is Grace’s official Tummy Time blanket.
This is Grace hanging out on her blanket her first day home from the hospital.
